There are several accommodation options near the reserve, ranging from budget-friendly hotels to more luxurious resorts and lodges
Morning:
Arrival at Satpura Tiger Reserve (Reach via Bhopal, 140 km away, or Pipariya, 30 km away)
Check-in at your chosen lodge or resort near the park (e.g., Reni Pani Jungle Lodge or Forsyth Lodge).
Enjoy a welcome drink and settle in.
Afternoon:
Lunch at the lodge. Enjoy local and regional cuisine.
Evening:
Safari Experience: Embark on an evening safari in Satpura Tiger Reserve. You can choose between
Jeep Safari: Explore the diverse habitats of the reserve, from forests to water bodies, with a trained guide.
Boat Safari: In areas like Denwa River, where you can spot crocodiles, various bird species, and sometimes a tiger or a leopard.
Morning:
Early morning safari in the park, exploring different parts such as:
Tawa Reservoir: A place for birdwatching.
Churna Range: Famous for its chances of tiger sightings and other wildlife.
The safari typically lasts around 4-5 hours.
Return to the lodge for breakfast
Mid-Morning:
Nature walk or Village Visit: After breakfast, take a guided nature walk or visit a nearby village to experience local culture and learn about the relationship between the local communities and the reserve.
Afternoon:
Lunch at the lodge.
Evening:
Afternoon Safari: Another safari or a trekking tour (if available) to explore a different part of the park like the Sadar or Sankalpa area, which is known for its rich biodiversity and picturesque views
Night:
Dinner at the lodge and relax for the evening.
Morning:
Early morning safari to catch any last glimpses of wildlife, including tigers, leopards, sambar, and wild boar. Enjoy birdwatching as well, as the park is known for a variety of birds such as Indian vultures, eagles, and hornbills.
Late Morning:
Return to the lodge for breakfast and freshen up.
You can relax at the lodge or take a dip in the pool (if available)
Noon:
Check-out from the lodge and head back to your departure point (Bhopal/Pipariya).
