Khajuraho, Bhopal & Indore Tour

Day 01 Jhansi – Khajuraho Arrival (212 Kms / 05 Hrs)

After arriving in Jhansi, meet our Representative who helps you with an assisted transfer to the pre-booked hotel in Khajuraho. Visit Orchha Temples, on the way. Upon arrival, check in hotel and relax. Later go for local sightseeing which covers a visit to Khajuraho’s famous temples, all of them are built with intricacy and is ancient. Originally 82 in number, these temples were built during the reign of Chandela Rulers. These temples include erotic human figures, images of musicians, warriors, gods and goddesses, and mythological animal figures in Kama Sutra positions. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 02 Khajuraho Sightseeing

Start the day with sightseeing at the Eastern Group which consists of seven temples out of which four are Jain temples and the other three are Hindu. The seven temples are the Parsvanath, Adinath, Shantinath Ghantai temple, the Vamana, Javari and Brahma. Later in the day pay a visit to the Archaeological Museum that exhibits a wide collection of stone sculptures that were built in the times of Chandela dynasty. You return back to the hotel and stay over the night.

Day 03 Khajuraho – Bhopal (375 Kms / 08 Hrs)

After an early breakfast, check out from hotel and transfer to Bhopal. Upon arriving Bhopal transfer to hotel. Check in hotel and relax. Evening is at leisure. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 04 Bhopal – Sanchi – Bhopal

In the morning on reaching Bhopal, meet our representative who’ll escort you to one of our listed hotels. After taking some rest, move out on an excursion to Sanchi. It is the home to Stupas the magnificent structures of ancient India. These Stupas have been declared as the world heritage sites by UNESCO consisting relics of the Buddha. The Sanchi Stupas contains ornamented depiction of from the life of the Buddha and his previous incarnations. Another major attraction to view is the Ashoka Pillar that is kept in museum maintained by the Archaeology department. Later in the day return back to Bhopal and pay a visit to the National Archives. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05 Bhopal – Indore (195 Kms / 04 Hrs)

Morning after breakfast, leave to visit other major tourist attraction of Bhopal city including places like Secretariat, Fatehgarh Fort, Taj-ul-Masjid, Sadar Manzil, Vidhan Sabha and Moti Masjid. Check out after from the hotel in Bhopal to reach Indore. As you reach Indore, check-in at hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. In the evening embark on a visit to Lal Bagh Palace and the Bodhi Sheesh Mahal. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 06 Indore Sightseeing

Morning after Breakfast venture out for a full day tour of Ujjain. It was a great center of learning and culture in ancient India. The places you will visit here include Mahakaleshwar Temple, Jantar Mantar, Observatory of Masonry, Gopal Mandir and Bathing Ghats of Shipra River. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 07 Indore Departure

In the morning, enjoy breakfast at the hotel and gear up to check-out. Then drive to Indore Railway Station/ Airport for your return journey back home with wonderful memories.
