Arrival at Bagdogra/NJP: You’ll be picked up from the airport or train station and transferred to Gangtok (approximately 4-5 hours by road).
Evening at Leisure: Relax in your hotel, enjoy the beautiful views, and stroll around the vibrant MG Road, which is the main hub in Gangtok with cafes, shops, and local eateries.
Overnight Stay in Gangtok.
Tsomgo Lake: Early morning departure to Tsomgo Lake, which is about 35 km from Gangtok (12,400 ft). It’s a beautiful high-altitude lake, and you can enjoy activities like yak rides. If you’re visiting in winter, the lake might be frozen, offering a spectacular view.
Baba Mandir: After Tsomgo Lake, visit Baba Mandir, dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, a soldier who is believed to still guard the area.
Nathula Pass (Optional): If the weather permits, you can visit Nathula Pass, located on the India-China border. This requires an additional permit and a good weather window.
