Sunabeda is situated at a distance of 20 kms from the main town in Koraput. It is a modern town surrounded with green valleys. Jonk and Sunar River flow along this town. There is a temple called Sri Ram temple known for its highest kneeling hanuman statue. The temple is situated in a village near Sunabeda. The MIG fighter plane factory of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited is also located here.
